Due to a plant breakdown last night and poor weather forecasted, State Highway 2 H2 in Carterton remains CLOSED to southbound traffic until 5am Tuesday [2 July] with detours in place via Somerset Rd.
SH2 Northbound remains open.
The final layer of asphalt is now scheduled for tonight, Monday 1 July, weather permitting.
