Meetings

The 2022 meeting schedule has now been set.  Most meetings will be held at the Carterton Events Centre. The agenda is available at least two days ahead of the scheduled meeting on our Agenda and Minutes page.

The in-public section of most council and committee meetings are live-streamed to our Facebook page, @cartertondistrictcouncil.

Meeting schedule for 2022 and 2023

A full meeting schedule for 2023 will be tabled at the December Council meeting for adoption.

In the interim, Council needs to confirm the schedule of any Council or Committee meetings to be held before the adoption of the 2022 schedule.

The proposed meeting schedule for November and December 2022 is as follows:

  • Audit and Risk Committee – 9.30 am, 23 November
  • Policy and Projects Committee – 12.30 pm, 23 November
  • Ordinary Council meeting – 1 pm, 7 December

Attending a Meeting

Members of the public are welcome and encouraged to attend meetings of Council and Committees.

At the COVID-19 Orange setting, meetings will be in person at the Carterton Events Centre.

Call us on 06 379 4030 or email demservices@cdc.govt.nz at least 24 hours prior to a meeting if you wish to participate.

 

Some parts of a meeting may be held in exclusion of the public.

Public Forum

A public forum is provided at the start of meetings, where anyone can address elected members.

At least 24 hours’ notice is required if members of the public wish to speak at the public forum.
