Howard Booth Park, located in Belvedere Road, comprises three football pitches with one being floodlit. Carterton Squash Club and Carterton Play Centre are also situated at the park along with a children’s playground.
Clareville Complex based at the Wairarapa A&P Showgrounds boasts national standard all weather hockey turfs, badminton and tennis courts and a competition level cross country Horse riding course form part of the Sporting facilities. The Western Riding Club and Canine Clubs meet throughout the year on the grounds.
The Gladstone Sports and Social Complex is situated on Gladstone Road, just after the Gladstone Inn in the middle of the Carterton area of the Wairarapa. Set amongst farmland with beautiful views, the Complex is not only home to a number of local sports teams but it can also be hired out for parties, weddings and other events.
