What’s being done?

  • Removal of kerbside traffic island
  • Removal of parking bay

When?

  • Wednesday 12 June to Friday 14 June, 7am to 6pm

Detours and access

  •  There will be no access to Pembroke Street from SH2, please follow the detour arrows.
  • In the event of bad weather or other unforeseen circumstances, the work will be postponed until the next suitable day.

Safety

  • Please warn your children of the dangers posed by road-works. Ensure that they stand well back from the action and that they follow the directions of workers. It is also a good idea to keep pets indoors or on your property while the work is in progress.
  • Roadwork is a noisy, dirty business – but please bear with us. We will be doing all we can to minimise the impact on your household and business. Your co-operation and patience will help us get the job done as quickly as possible. Roading machines do tend to be noisy and our team will be as respectful as possible.
