Our generous community turned out again to Pack The Bus, and one of our lovely locals almost packed it herself!
Carterton’s own Lisa Lee raised $3350 through her company Pretty Pearls & Crystals NZ.
Lisa’s auctions gathered online donations from across the world and filled half-a-dozen trollies at the town-centre New World supermarket.
Lisa was just one of many in our community to give generously.
The Bus stopped at Carterton New World and South End, St Mary’s, and Carterton Schools to collect gifts.
Deputy Mayor Dale Williams, councillors Steve Laurence, and Robyn Cherry-Campbell joined CDC team members, students and teachers of each school, and the Property Brokers and More FM teams in packing in the presents.
Lisa’s two-car loads [!] and other presents from around Wairarapa will go to the good people in our community who could use a helping hand this holiday season.
Follow Mediaworks Pack The Bus on Facebook for more information on stops across Wairarapa this week.
Pack The Bus is supported by Mediaworks, More FM, Property Brokers, Tranzit, and Carterton, Masterton, and South Wairarapa District Councils.
