We are seeking a dynamic leader and facilitator to help us make sustainable changes in the way we deliver our operations and services, and support community adaptation and mitigation initiatives.
The successful candidate will be a strong verbal and written communicator, collaborator and relationship builder, who is able to bring together multiple groups of internal and external stakeholders to achieve outcomes. You’ll work across a wide range of areas such as climate change strategy implementation, emissions inventory and reduction activities, climate risk assessment, climate adaptation planning, and council and community resilience.
You will bring strong expertise relating to climate change mitigation and/or climate change adaptation, systems thinking, and knowledge of current and emerging climate change policy, and have experience in critical analysis and providing advice to inform policies and plans.
You will also have plenty of enthusiasm and energy, and be passionate about a sustainable, equitable, low carbon and resilient community that works for people and the planet.
