Located in the heart of beautiful Wairarapa, the Carterton District is growing rapidly!  This means we have a lot on our plate – an ambitious capital works programme, development of significant infrastructure, and the delivery of major transformation in our water networks.

We are offering a fantastic opportunity for a strategic, forward-thinker who is up for the challenge of working in this exciting period of growth.  As part of a small team, you’ll enjoy the opportunity to be involved across the whole range of asset planning and development, so you’ll need to be an adept juggler who enjoys a wide variety of work.

You will have significant experience in the development of infrastructure engineering and development, particularly water, wastewater and storm water, and including subdivision/land use consent processing.  You will also have proven experience in managing and coordinating asset management systems and processes, and advanced computer skills, including database management and GIS mapping.

A relevant tertiary qualification or certification in asset management, or a related experience or discipline is preferred, with a minimum 5+ years post qualification experience.
