This Friday, 25 April we will be commemorating ANZAC Day in Carterton with our local parade and service
If you are marching, please arrive in Holloway Street for 10.45am.
The parade commences at 11am and will make its way to Memorial Square where there will be wreath laying and a service. The main road will be closed throughout this period.

Gladstone Dawn Service
Gladstone’s Anzac Day Service is held at the Maungaraki War Memorial. The Gladstone Anzac Day Service is described as focusing on remembering the men who left the Maungaraki area and didn’t come back. Parking is available all around the Memorial Stone at the south end of the Avenue, and the commemoration starts at 5.30am at the north end of the Avenue. Attendees walk in silence through the trees.
Carterton Club after the Carterton Service
You are cordially invited back to the Carterton Club following the Carterton Service for light refreshments.
Carterton Rugby Club
At 2.30pm there is a fundraising rugby game between Carterton and Greytown at the Carterton Rugby Club where the gate takings are donated to the RSA. Please support if you are able.
