Fulton Hogan are carrying out works on behalf of Council on the night of Tuesday 15 July. Please see information below:

What’s being done? Milling and asphalting on Carters Line, followed by line marking.
Sign posted detours will be in place for the duration of the works. Residents approaching the South side of East Taratahi/Carters line will be directed to use either East Taratahi Road or Carters line.

In the event of bad weather or other unforeseen circumstances, the work will be postponed until the next suitable day.

NOISE & DIRT Roadwork is a noisy, dirty business – but please bear with us. We will be doing all we can to minimise the impact on your household and business. Your co-operation and patience will help us get the job done as quickly as possible.

EASY DOES IT Bitumen, concrete and other road repair materials require a bit of TLC after they are applied. Please treat all new surfaces with extra care for the two weeks following the completion of this project. Avoid excessive speed, sharp turns and heavy braking.

WE’LL BE BACK All new roadwork is routinely monitored and in some cases workers may need to return to the site to do things like sweeping and repainting road markings. You will receive another notice like this one if further work is required.

Carterton District Council has contracted Fulton Hogan Ltd to do this work. For further information about this project, please contact:
