Some businesses and households in our District have received information from Kiwirail this week on its proposals to close some level crossings on the Wairarapa Line.
Kiwirail is asking anyone with interests, concerns, or ideas, to contact them at wgtnupgrade@kiwirail.co.nz.
Kiwirail are very keen to hear how residents and businesses might be impacted and will be engaging with local communities over the coming weeks, including meetings in Carterton and Masterton to discuss the proposals. Meeting dates and times will be confirmed in due course.
