Wow! We are thrilled to share that the Carterton Daffodil Festival NZ took home the Tranzit Vibrant Award at last night’s Spark Business Hub Wairarapa Awards!
This award is a celebration of our whole community and the incredible effort that goes into making the festival such a special day for Carterton and the wider Wairarapa. It recognises the vibrancy, collaboration, and spirit that have kept this event thriving for over a century.
We would love to thank TSC Traffic, the Lions Club of Carterton, Wellington Free Ambulance, Whānau Āwhina Plunket, Steam Incorporated, Wai Art Show, Kuranui College, Carterton Railway Museum, Precycle NZ, Grant and Heather Smith KSM, the Booth family, all the stallholders, the entertainers and the incredible volunteers and helping hands who make things happen on the day. The festival wouldn’t be the same without you – thank you!
The Daffodil Festival has been part of Carterton’s story for over a century, and this recognition is a testament to the people who make it happen. Together, we’ve created an event that brings our community together, celebrates our heritage and continues to grow and thrive.
