Carrington Park upgrades approved

In our 2025 Community Survey, you told us Carrington Park needs some work.
We’d also recognised this, and in our June Ordinary Council Meeting on Wednesday, Council approved $2million in Reserve Funding to deliver substantial upgrades and support skate park improvements.
**Reserve Funds are collected through regulatory fees associated with land changes such as subdivisions, and redevelopments. As such, this project is not being funded by rates, nor can these funds be used to bring rates down.**
These upgrade works will modernise playground equipment, improve safety and contribute to our vibrant vision for Carterton. Visuals are currently being developed and we look forward to sharing these with you shortly.
