About The Project

Waingawa Industrial Estate business can expect to be able to tap into ‘process water’ at the end of July.

Waingawa Water Project is enabling a century-old water race, a repurposed storage tank and a new pump station to deliver water directly from Waingawa River to local businesses.

Providing the Waingawa industrial area with an untreated option reduces the cost of water to those businesses. They can use this water in manufacturing processes, steam creation, cleaning equipment – whatever it might be.
