My principal place of residence is not in the area.

I’m running for Council to bring some young blood and fight to a council that has become far too comfortable raising rates at an astonishing speed, while failing to deliver improvements in community services.

I’m campaigning with two priorities in mind:

Lower rates – I believe residents should see better value for their money. I’ll push for smarter spending and greater transparency at council level.

Attracting investment – Carterton has huge potential. I want to support local businesses and bring new investment into our district to grow jobs and opportunities.

Vote Joshua Groot, to bring desperately needed change and youthful energy to a complacent, comfortable council.
