My principal place of residence is in the area.

I live on a lifestyle block at Gladstone that the family has owned for over 30 years. I have spent most of my working life in the building industry. The only constant in life is change and I believe that we are heading into a time of great change.

Central government has started the conservation on local councils going back to their core business and capping rates growth. I have been through this in my business life, negotiated my way through the challenges and done well. It can have a very positive outcome for everybody affected by it.

It would be nice to see the CBD tidied up, some new buildings built to fill in the gaps, sorting out the summer water shortage is well on the way, and the local roads are mostly good.
