UPDATE 4.00PM – Repair work has been completed and water supplies have been restored to households on Brooklyn Road and Ashmore Park.
Thank you for you patience and cooperation as we worked through the repairs.
When you restore the water flow to your household, there may be some discolouration. This should be solved by running taps for one minute, then turning off.

UPDATE 1.30PM – The crew are almost finished with the repairs but it might go a little past 2pm. We expect to have everything finished up by 3pm. Hang in there!

We will be doing another Emergency shutdown on a section of Brooklyn Road to repair the leak from yesterday.

We had to source fittings last night to replace a section of the pipe where it is leaking.
We’re aware there was a bit of surface flooding on the verges last night, but we made the decision to keep the water until repairs could be made so that residents didn’t have to go without water overnight.

This shutdown will take place from 9am this morning until around 2pm.

We apologise for the inconvenience.
