The Council offices will be closed from midday on 24 December, reopening at 8.30am on Monday 6th January. During this time, your rubbish and refuse collection service will run as usual, with collection on Monday 23rd and Monday 30th December, and Monday 6th January.

All direct debits will be processed as normal, with the exception of payments which fall on Boxing Day (26th December), or the day after New Year’s Day (2nd January), which will be processed one day later than usual. If you would like to make any changes to your direct debits for this period, please contact us before Friday 20th December to arrange this.

The CDC regulatory department is officially closed from the 20 Dec 2019 to the 10 January 2020 however there will still be staff in the office until the 24 December 2019 returning on the 6 January 2020.  Building Consents and Resource consents lodged prior to November 22nd will have the best chance of being issued prior to the holidays.

The last building inspection time slot for 2019 will be 12pm on the 20th December 2019, and the first in the New Year will be at 9.00am 7 January 2020.

The first day in the New Year for LIM applications is 10 January 2020.
