Nominations for the 2020 Charles Rooking Carter Awards are now open.  This biennial Awards Night is Carterton’s chance to celebrate all the amazing individuals, groups and businesses achievements of our ever growing district.

This year’s categories are:

Voluntary Community Services Award to recognise and individual or organisation that has carried out meritorious voluntary community service.
Achievers Award for an individual or organisation that has excelled in the sporting, cultural or academic field.
Boosting Business Award to recognise a business that demonstrates growth, innovation and creativity.
Young Leader Award to recognise a young person (under 25) who has demonstrated outstanding leadership.
Environmental & Sustainability Award to recognise an individual, organisation or business that has made an outstanding contribution to improving our environment and sustainability.
Charles Rooking Carter Civic Award an elite award to recognise an individual for their outstanding and innovative service to others in the community over a significant period of time.

The Awards Night is being held on Saturday 23rd May at the Carterton Events Centre and is set to be a night of fun, celebration and community spirit.

Nomination forms are available online here, in the December edition of the Carterton Crier, at the Carterton District Council office, and at the Carterton Events Centre.
